The Actiheart is the new gold standard for measuring activity and energy expenditure. It uses both heart rate and activity data to accurately calculate Activity Energy Expenditure and has been validated against doubly labelled water.
Waterproof and easy to wear weighing less than 10 grams, the Actiheart can be easily worn by users of all ages. It can be customised for paediatric use by shortening the lead between the two electrodes. Clips onto two ECG pads worn on the chest with two optimal positions.
The flexible Actiheart software can provide four different configurations depending on the parameter depth you require the device.
Includes an optional step test to calibrate the device for each individual. All data can be exported to a .csv file.
A actiheart system includes a Actiheart device, Actiheart software and a new multi reader/charger. All items are sold individually. ECG electrodes not included.
